In 2003, Mike, a member of Calvary, sensed a divine calling to establish a church. Alongside his partner, Jenn, they journeyed to Oregon, ultimately finding themselves in Gold Beach. Convinced it was an ideal setting to raise their family and respond to Mike's calling, they embarked on this new chapter. Fast forward 20 years,

The Quesada Family 2003

Pastor Mike fondly reflects on the inaugural church service of CCGB, which took place in the living room of Mike and Jenn's apartment. The humble beginnings saw a total of four attendees. Playfully, by the second week, Mike jests about losing half the congregation as only two individuals showed up for the second service.

Today, Calvary Chapel proudly stands in the Gold Beach Harbor, having undergone a significant transformation in 2023. The renovations include a new fellowship hall, a main sanctuary, and dedicated classrooms for children's ministries.
